Fascinating portrait of a young farmer created using the pastel technique and signed by Umberto Coromaldi (Rome, September 21, 1870 - Rome, October 5, 1948).The Italian artist was a painting master for the Royal House of Savoy and, in 1911, executed a prestigious portrait of King Victor Emmanuel. He was president of the Academy of Saint Luke and a member of the Brera Academy.
