A rare Ojer copper alliage enamel plaque depicting the Crucifixion. Inspired by the 12th/13th century copper enamel plaques from the Romanesque workshops of Limoges in France. Exceptional technique and craftsmanship.
The last photo is from the Met website: a copper enamel-champlevé plaque from the first quarter of the 13th century. The inspiration of the jeweler and artist Ojer.
