Description: Finely worked ivory knob, with a beautiful period patina. Silver vermeillé (gilded) ferrule, hallmarked, adding a precious and authentic touch. Barrel in rush, refined material and typical of this period. Original ivory ferrule.

Unique detail: A magnificent stylized monogram, engraved in ink, revealing the initials "PL".

Condition: Very good general condition, despite a small visible crack on the ivory knob (see photos). These traces of use do not detract from the elegance of this exceptional object.
