Elegant pair of Louis XVI-style caned chairs, in gilded (original gilding) and carved wood.
Edged with pearl friezes, the backs are decorated with interlaced arrows and foliage. The round seats are adorned with friezes of ovals, ribbon bows and floret connectors.
The two front legs are twisted and the two back legs are saber-shaped.
This highly decorative pair of chairs is in very good overall condition and dates from the late 19th century.
