"Napoleon III Oval Gilded Mirror "
Oval mirror in its original gold leaf gilding. The profile of the ogee frame is enhanced with floral motifs and a row of pearls. The prominent pediment with openwork shell evokes the Louis style, two garlands of flowers run along the falling frame. The bottom of the frame is decorated with a shell reminiscent of that of the pediment. The beveled mirror without pitting is period, the original gilding is well preserved! The back is parqueted with softwood planks
