Large Swedish cartel in gilded wood from the 18th century. Beautiful cabinetmaking work, it is all openwork, decorated with acanthus leaves, leaves and carved flowers. The dial showing the time with Arabic numerals is signed Wilhelm Pauli in Stockholm, a Swedish watchmaker active in the last quarter of the 18th century. Beautiful gilded bronze hands. Wire movement striking the hour and half hour, functional because it has been revised by our watchmaker. Beautiful period gilding, and good general condition.
