Antique Buddhist Ritual Dagger Phurba Bronze Tibet

Finely cast, the tripart ritual dagger issuing from the mouth of a makara with serpents meandering down the sides of the blade, the handle with the heads of citipati, a bodhisattva, and a wrathful deity surmounted by an apex figure of Yamantaka, the destroyer of death, standing on a lotus pedestal with forty-eight arms and ten heads flanked by a double aureole enclosed by a foliate nimbus, flanked by two smaller attendant deities. 

Period - 19th century or earlier

Condition - Two points bent

Measurement - Height 30.8 cm
