Circa 1830. Russian four part icon "The Mother of God" - Sign, The Searcher of the lost, Virgin Mary, Consolation of all the Afflicted. In an original black lacquered wooden box, painted in oil on a wooden panel. Box with glass. The surface of the icon has some damage caused by a burn. Very precise work.
