"English Biscuit Porcelain Cache Pot By Wedgwood, Signed."
English porcelain biscuit cache pot from the Wedgwood factory in blue with white patterns worked in relief. A frieze of bindweeds decorates the top of the cache pot which rests on three small feet. The decoration is inspired by the archaeological excavations of Herculaneum and Pompeii. The factory was created in 1759 by Josia Wedgwood (1730-1759) seconded by his son Thomas. This cache pot is in very good condition without cracks or chips.
