Vladimir Pavlovich Nechoumoff studied at the Kharkov School of Fine Arts. He emigrated at the time of the Revolution and initially settled in Istanbul. He then settled in Paris, frequented the "Grande Chaumière" and was part of the Russian association "l'Icône". Before the war, his studio was located at 4 rue d'Arsonval in Paris. At the end of his life, he created his ceramics studio in Caracas. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Indépendants between 1938 and 1947. These works were mainly produced during his stay in Istanbul and have a very art deco character.
