Dimensions: 78 x 57.5 cm Alain Bonnefoit, born in Paris on May 18, 1937, is a French painter, lithographer, designer and sculptor. He was a student at the Duperré School of Applied Arts from 1953 to 1955, then at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris from 1956 to 1957, as well as at the Académie royale des beaux-arts in Brussels from 1959 to 1960, then a student of the sculptor Antoniucci Volti at the Beaux-Arts in Paris. A painter of nudes, he practices the Japanese calligraphy technique known as sumi-e1.
