The belt consists of a superb buckle 10.3 cm high, 14 very ornate square links, foliated and pierced 4.5 cm wide x 4.5 cm high connected together by two fasteners.
- The second link has two protrusions used to block the belt loop.
- The last link cut at an angle, finishes the belt.
- On the eleventh link, a small discreet buckle, was used to put a stitch so that the belt does not turn
The belt measures 76 cm long for a total weight of 174 grs.
Worn on the kaftan during the wedding.
The set is complete, buckle, belt loop, fastener, links and in very good condition.
The groom offered the belt to the future bride. Ottoman Empire circa 1900 - 1920.
