"Renaissance Fireplace In Moselle Stone"
Dating from the 16th century, a fireplace in Moselle stone, the lintel is monolithic with a decor of volutes and acanthus leaves. The hood is sculpted with an oval mount surrounded by cornucopias from which emerge falls of flowers and acanthus leaves. Two pilasters are on either side of this decor. The jambs are fluted, topped with corbels in consoles which support the lintel.
