"Jean Pouyat Limoges Porcelain Mustache Cup, 19th Century"
Very rare Limoges porcelain moustache cup by Jean Pouyat. This is the first time I have seen one intact and with its saucer in fine Limoges porcelain. Particularly decorative model with a frieze in double-layer gold inlay polished with agate on the edge and top of the cup, Then comes an unusual Limoges gradient from yellow to white. The cup has this particularity on the inside which allows you not to soak your moustache when drinking your tea. Very good condition overall, some lack of gold on the external threads. Both pieces are signed JP Limoges, Décor Jean Pouyat. Period late 19th century. Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 80 euros rest of the world.
