Important marble, chiseled and gilded bronze clock, with attributes of bacchantes in patinated bronze on the uprights and garlands of vines. Louis XV style rocaille base. Movement with enameled cartridges with Roman numerals by Pierre-César Honoré Pons (Gold Medal in 1827) striking the hours and half hours. It is surmounted by a patinated bronze group with the effigy of Bacchus as a child, draped in a lion's skin and offering the juice of a bunch of grapes to a cherub (Allegory of wine) 19th century Height: 66 cm Width: 43 cm Depth: 21 cm
