Bridal globes
Traditional French decorative object from the late 19th to the early 20th century, offered by the mother or godmother of the bride, it symbolized the solidity and happiness in the couple. They were thus used to display wedding souvenirs, in particular the bride's bouquet and crown of orange blossoms, generally in wax but also any personal effects (photos, pins, souvenirs, ...)
Did you know? Mirrors also have their meaning! The number of rectangular mirrors represented the number of years of engagement. Today we can find another use for this pretty globe made with finesse, such as hanging jewelry. Let your imagination run wild!
