Attracted very early by painting, he continued his studies in Paris at the Lycée Claude Bernard, then at the Sorbonne, at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and at the Atelier de Montparnasse. In 1974, he settled permanently in Albi in 1974, and held his first exhibition at the age of 27.
