A late 19th century figural novelty corkscrew, probably German, circa 1890. The handle in the shape of a celluloid mermaid with a silver patinated scaly tail and long flowing hair, fitted with a steel bottle opener, a simple wire propeller and a foil cutter, 11 cm long.
