View of Collioure, oil on canvas from the early 20th century signed lower left by Edmond Le Bienvenu-Dutourp (1878-1945). Edmond Le Bienvenu-Dutourp studied at the Caen School of Fine Arts and was represented at all the Lower Normandy exhibitions until 1940. He served in the Navy during the First World War and his sister, Valentine, was also an artist. This work can be compared to that of Henri Martin "The village of Collioure with a view of the port". In the distance, we can see the castle of Saint-Elme, the Madeloc tower, and the Royal castle. Oil on canvas in good condition, a small restoration on the bottom of the painting.
