Cuirassier helmet troop model 1874. Steel bomb. Marmouzet, crest, grenade headband, plume holder, rosette rush and brass scale chinstraps, lined with black leather for the chinstraps. Marmouzet puff in red horsehair, black horsehair mane with a good length. Visor and neck lined with leather. Inner headdress in brown morocco. Scarlet plume in rooster feather, brass olive. France late 19th century, in service until the First World War. Good general condition, with traces of use. Headdress worn. Size 56/57 cm.
