"Louis XVI Period Sauteuse Chest Of Drawers In Mahogany With Ebony Marquetry"
Chest of drawers, in blond mahogany, with fluted cut sides and resting on a tapered base also fluted. The two drawers decorated with ebony fillets. Lock entries with ribbon knot and gilded bronze pull rings. Top in slightly veined white Carrara marble, molded. Interior and back in softwood. Louis XVI period. Note that contrary to what the photos might suggest, the sides are very uniform and the same color as the front of the chest of drawers. Usual restorations, a few slight days in the bottoms of the drawers. Very good condition.
