This refined lamp base, 13 cm wide, 31 cm high and 13 cm deep, embodies the elegance of the Empire style with a romantic touch specific to the end of the 19th century. Made of finely carved biscuit, it represents three graceful putti in a scene full of delicacy and movement. The richly decorated gilded bronze base highlights the whiteness of the biscuit and gives the whole a noble and precious look. Two restorations have been carried out on the arms of the putti, and a few fingers are missing. Despite these small defects, the overall condition remains good.
