"Rare Small Marquetry Display Cabinet, Louis XVI Style – Mid 19th Century"
Small Louis XVI style Dutch-inspired Mahogany display case composed of an upper part glazed on three sides with a glass shelf. Below, we find three drawers with a facade inlaid with diamonds in rosewood, stained wood and light wood. The carved bronze entrances are accompanied by their chiseled key and functional lock. On each side, the uprights are decorated with large grooves decorated with brass. The lower part of the piece of furniture, wider, is composed of a drawer in the upper part and a crotch shelf, also inlaid. The feet are decorated with large brass grooves and marquetry of light and stained wood on the inside.
