"Emile Gallé (1846-1904) Magnolias Lamp"
Rare late 19th century period lamp by the famous master glassmaker Emile Gallé (1846-1904) signed in the Art Nouveau decor in multi-layer glass paste with a naturalist decor engraved in acid cameo depicting Magnolias in bloom or bud finely reworked on the wheel and enriched with foliage. The whole is supported by a beautiful organically shaped base in gilded bronze forming a ribbed plant stem with dynamic movement animated by a large beetle climbing on the leafy heart-shaped base (note a monogrammed stamp and numbers under the plate). Good general and electrical condition, glassware in excellent original condition. Dimensions: 40 cm high X 25 cm long.
