Beautiful large snuffbox, (16cm!) from fruitwood, hollowed-out monoxyl body is entirely engraved on outside, by friezes of geometric elements by tip of penknife, integrating two rosettes on top.Flat lid, well engraved, joined to body by a worked brass hinge, rustically nailed and re-nailed.
