Baccarat translucent crystal caviar set, gilt silver mount decorated with acanthus leaves. The set consists of two main elements: a large straight-bodied cup to hold the ice, and a covered bowl to hold the caviar, placed inside the cup using a four-hook support made of silver. Both pieces are in cut crystal decorated with vertical gadroons on the lower part of each reservoir, an engraved frieze of quatrefoils and leafy stems on the body, as well as a silver-gilt mount decorated with pearls, acanthus friezes and interlacing. The bowl has a lid topped with an acanthus bud handle. 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmarks Master goldsmith hallmark: Emile Puiforcat Largest diameter: 23.5 cm Height: 11.5 cm Bowl: Diameter: 16.5 cm Height: 10 cm Joint: a cut crystal tray, vermeil mount decorated with Rais-de-cœur.
