"Reliquary Of Marguerite-marie Alacoque (1647-1690) From 1864 Dating From Her Beatification"
During the first vision of Sister Marguerite-Marie Alacoque, Christ placed the Sacred Heart on her chest while showing her his flaming heart surmounted by a cross. Since then, she has always been attached to the cult of the Sacred Heart and of Jesus, striving to repair the ingratitude done to her heart and her sacrament. It was only two centuries later that Sister Marguerite-Marie Alacoque was beatified, on September 18, 1864, of which you will find here a testimony in the form of a reliquary embroidered on silk in its Napoleon III oval frame with its original convex glass. Some weaknesses in the fabric at the top left, probably due to sunny exposure, see photos.
