"Small Office By Paul Sormani"
Beautiful little desk called bonheur du jour, signed "P- Sormani" (1817-1877), 19th century, in black lacquered wood, enhanced with magnificent gilded bronzes and decorated on the front of the drawers with mother-of-pearl flowers, so-called umbrella base, desk with mechanism, by pulling the top the 2 drawers could open, top enhanced with red leather surrounded by a gold roulette motif, signature on the front of the lock.
