"Seven Antibes Ray Camart Earthenware Plates"
Antibes earthenware from the 50s, set of seven octagonal plates in cracked earthenware decorated with hand-painted fruits (pear, cherries with a small chip, plums, bunch of grapes, peaches, apple, apricots). Dimensions 17cm x 17cm. Six plates signed Ray Camart, one plate signed Lauray created in collaboration with Laurent Rivara, Lauray comes from the contraction of LAUrent and Raymond. Famous ceramist Ray Camart for Raymond Camart (1908-1980) born in Le Havre, son and grandson of sculptors, he settled in the 45s in Vallauris, early 50s he created a workshop in Antibes.
