"Renaissance Style Marble Fireplace, Ca.1880"
A large and striking Saint Rémy marble fireplace, Renaissance style, dating from ca.1880. Found in a Maison Maitre in Brussels. A wide moulded shelf is resting above a deep panelled frieze, which can be -again- highligted with original bronzes, if you like. All supported on generous corbels and tapering jambs, resting on sturdy, tall moulded footblocks. Internal dimensions are 97 cm width and 148 cm high. Will be delivered with old marble floortiles to make a frontfloor, Saint Rémy and/or Carrara. Also in our stock: Decorative foyertiles, best option if you go for a real open fire. Worldwide shipping.
