Lerebours et Secretan - Simplified achromatic microscope - 1850 Very good example of a drum microscope named by its inventor Lerebours, "Simplified achromatic microscope". This model is signed "Lerebours et Secretan in Paris" and can be dated to around 1850. This is the model with the wheel for adjusting the height of the microscope tube. There was a simpler model without a rack. The microscope is in perfect original condition, retaining its mirror, its condenser lens for opaque objects, an eyepiece and an achromatic triplet. It is kept in its original mahogany box, the interior of which was previously redone and has retained no accessories. The box measures 28×15x10cm
