Faustin Besson was born in 1821 in Dole, in the Jura, and died in 1882 in Paris. He painted for the Empress Eugenie, and is also the author of the ceiling of the bedroom of the Tuileries Palace. The work we are presenting is a genre scene, largely inspired by the work of François Boucher. Dimensions with frame: 116 cm x 97 cm. This painting is in very good condition, and has been cleaned.
