Important German porcelain soup tureen or vegetable dish from the Hoechst or Hochst factory (mark with the crowned wheel of the elector). This factory closed its doors in 1796. Hand-painted decoration of bouquets of spring flowers on the belly, daffodil, tulip, and on the lid a lemon treated in trompe l'oeil as a fretel with a bas-relief decoration of celeriac. Presence inside the lid of an alliance coat of arms with count's crown and inventory number 1325. Note two losses to the leaves of the lid
