"Art Deco Painting Watercolor Vergé Sarrat, View Of The South Collioure "
Watercolor landscape painting seen from the South by Henri Vergé Sarrat. Very interesting work representing a view around Collioure where he stayed around the year 1927. Very pretty animated view quite in the spirit of Raoul Dufy his contemporary. Very good artist born in Anderlecht Belgium 1880 and died in Paris in 1968 he was a great traveler and exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries in 1926 and at the Salon d'Automne in 1933. He was one of the French artists most purchased by the French state between the two wars. Note the very good conservation and freshness of this beautiful piece very nicely framed. dimensions in the frame 74 by 66 cm.
