A large and nicely carved antique Corpus Christi wooden sculpture. 
Superb wood carving  with a large amount of detail. 
The sculpture dates back to at least the 19th century we are told. We found this in a large private home and it was in there private chapel, it's not our usual subject but I thought we'd have a go at it. For a more detailed description, please refer to the pictures.The overall height is 51.5 inches (130.8 cm).  and the width is 33 inches (84 cm). The overall dimensions of the Christ sculpture are a height of 26.5 inches (67.3 cm)  a width of 22 inches (56 cm).

This Corpus Christi is in good condition with no damage besides age-related wear. Please see the enclosed images as part of the condition description.
