A stunning four piece tea set, English Hallmarked Sterling, London, dates 1846, by William Hunter, during the Victorian Period.
William Hunter was well-known for his high- quality craft and skill in silverware throughout the silversmith industry in London in the 19th century period.
This is a fine example of his work, It comprises of a tea pot, coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl, all featuring a unique design with chased floral decoration throughout, standing on acanthus detailed plinths.
