STANISLAS KOSTKA (born in 1954) Oil on canvas Still life Signed and dated 1984 lower right Cracks This is a remake of a painting by Willem Claesz Heda (1594-1680) End of a snack, also called A dessert 1637 School of the Netherlands, and kept at the Louvre Museum Dimensions: 50 x 61 cm frame: 65.5 x 76.5 cm Franco-American artist, trained with his studies in Paris, Warsaw and Saint Petersburg. Influenced by the Dutch painters of the 17th century and his mentor Salvador Dali.
