"Automatic Milk Cow - Mechanical Toy - Roullet Decamps"
Large mechanical toy dairy cow attributed to Roulet Descamps (1880), a house founded in Paris in 1865, a famous automaton manufacturer in the 19th century. Similar model at the Pierre Pinel toy museum in Poissy. It is equipped with an internal tank that can be filled with milk or water through the tiny pipe on the animal's back: children can have fun milking it like a real cow, through the udders. When you move its tail, the cow moves its head and moos. It is covered in calfskin. The flocked head, glass eyes, is laterally movable. 4 small wheels under the hooves. No longer works. Good general condition, I think the tail needs to be reattached but it holds. Measurements Height in cm: 40 Length in cm: 56 Width in cm: 16
