"Magenta Putti Box After François Boucher In Porcelain, Meissen? "
Superb and rare large hand-painted porcelain box with a sumptuous decoration after the creations of François Boucher. Different scenes adorn the 4 exterior faces, these are scenes with putti having fun. The lid is decorated with a gallant scene in the same taste. The entire decoration is surrounded by volutes of acanthus leaves painted in fine gold in celadon and soft pink reserves. The hinge seems to be made of chiseled solid silver (a large punch in the middle). No manufacturer or decorator's mark. Most certainly Germany, Meissen early 19th century. Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 60 euros rest of the world.
