Important 18th century pastel, from the Louis XVI period, around 1780, representing in all its freshness a young girl with a headdress holding a large copper milk jug in her left hand.
Pastel made in the style of J.B Greuze (the treatise brings it closer even if you could look at the work of M.H Bounieu); pastel with shades of pale blue-gray and white, slightly evanescent, of great freshness.
Pastel under glass in its important 18th century frame prior to the work, richly carved gilded wooden frame in very good condition.
Recall that in the 18th century, many painted works received frames that were often taken from works that were discarded.
