Very beautiful and important pair of covered pots in Nevers earthenware from the Montagnon factory, entirely hand-painted with foliage and bird decorations. The original handles have a decoration of winged men. Antoine Montagnon (1838-1899), Nevers factory. Period late 19th century, Signed AM on the bottom; with the mark "Nœud vert". Very good condition except for a small old restoration on one of the necks (see photo). Restoration invisible with the lid. Height with lid: 52 cm Width including handle: 28 cm.
