"Regency Period Secretary "
Superb Regence secretary in the shape of a crossbow in plum and amaranth veneer with rosewood framing fillets. It opens with a flap revealing four drawers, one of which forms an inkwell and filing cabinets. The lower part is decorated with two doors revealing a large chest, all framing rounded uprights. Slightly curved base. Aleppo breccia marble top. This piece of furniture does not bear a stamp but we can easily attribute this work to the cabinetmaker Pierre II MIGEON.
