Signed "Cyprien Boulet". Cyprien Eugène Boulet was a French painter born in Toulouse and died in Toulon. He was a student of Jean-Paul Laurens, Fernand Cormon and Louis-Joseph-Raphael Collin. He exhibited at the Salon des artistes français in 1900 and became a member of the jury. He was awarded the Legion of Honor in 1926. He worked in France, Argentina, the United States and Mexico.
