Rare pair of flat-ribbed crystal wine decanters. Table service of King Louis-Philippe at the Tuileries Palace in Paris. Domed in shape, the decanters are cut and engraved in the center with the interlaced monogram of King Louis-Philippe (LP) under the royal crown and the initial T to designate one of the official residences of the royal family, the Tuileries Palace in Paris. One decanter marked on the neck "73" and the stopper "70", the other "45" on the neck. Height: 26.8 cm, diameter: 11.5 cm Provenance: - Louis-Philippe I, King of the French at the Tuileries Palace - Sale of the Administration of the Estates, 1854. Condition: tiny traces of use, slight chips on one of the stoppers.
