Gilded silver chalice resting on a circular pulley-shaped foot. The terrace of the foot is flat, with a slight depression, decorated with dark red enameled openwork ornamentation, associated with a Latin inscription and three screwed medallions representing Eucharistic symbols. The shaft is tubular, fitted with an enameled pulley toric knot, highlighted with a foliage frieze in the middle and flanked by two discs. The cup, slightly conical, is set in a cut-out false cup, decorated with water leaves. France, circa 1900 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmark. Master Goldsmith's mark: Biais & Rondelet stamped on the foot, and Favier Frères hallmark marks the cup. Height: 24 cm Foot diameter: 13.8 cm Cup diameter: 9 cm Net weight: 587 g This chalice is in very good condition, with a solid structure, without deformations, shocks or scratches. A trace of restoration, barely visible, is present at the end of the barrel. A small red cross on the foot is posterior.
