Louis XIII period armchair in solid walnut. It rests on two turned rosary legs at the front and two square-section rear legs. The whole is connected by an H-shaped crotch composed of two straight bars and a central turned rosary as well as a rosary spacer at the top. The armrests and armrest supports are also turned rosary. Small flat and rectangular backrest. The upholstery of our armchair has been completely redone, the seat is firm. The covering fabric is also recent and has a studded finish. Note that usual repairs have been carried out on this seat: Regluing at the central crotch bar, as well as at the junction of the right armrest and the backrest. The left crotch bar has been replaced, some grafts are also present on the rear legs, nevertheless, our armchair remains stable and solid. We would like to remind you that this seat is from the Louis XIII period (first half of the 17th century) we accept some repairs !!!!!!!! ................
