Louis XIII Armchair, 17th Century Walnut Armchair, Rosary Bead Work,

Beautiful Louis XIII period armchair in solid walnut. It rests on two turned rosary legs at the front and two square-section rear legs, the whole is connected by an H-shaped spacer, also with a square section. The armrests and armrest supports are worked in rosary beads. Small flat backrest and r cmecgtangular. The upholstery of our armchair has been completely redone recently, the seat is firm and comfortable. The covering fabric is also recent and has a beautiful studded finish. Note that usual repairs have been carried out, the H-shaped crotch bar has been replaced, as well as the two small balls located at the ends of the front legs. The two rear legs have old grafts.
