"Tiv Ihambe Statue"
Anthropomorphic statue that was originally supposed to be positioned on a pole, located outdoors. This type of statue was used in the context of ancestor worship. The object is authentic, it has a great antiquity (oxidation of the wood, style of sculpture) and has no restoration. It comes from an old English collection and was purchased from the dealer Manuel Castilho (Lisbon).
