"Vanity Skull "
Skull carved in solid wood, probably a vanity, mounted on a gilded brass base. The skull is removable from the base, not glued, if necessary. Work of a journeyman. The skull is topped with a cap. Period second half of the 19th century. Good condition. Perhaps a small element glued on an almost invisible edge of the jaw. Height of the skull with base 17 cm Skull: HT 9. Width 6 cm
