Silver-plated metal reliquary containing a relic of Saint Joseph BMV (ex Pallio) + Episcopal document (Coa) 19th century Theca reliquary containing a second class relic (ex.Pallio-of the mantle) with its wax seal and intact threads, accompanied by its episcopal authenticity document signed on June 8, 1838 by the agent of Engelbert Sterckx (1792-1867) Archbishop of Malines in Belgium. Description 19th century circular silver-plated metal Theca reliquary preciously containing the relics under glass of Saint Joseph BMV The interior is decorated with a gold fabric background. A handwritten label in Latin indicates De Pal.S.Josephi.BMV the small relic is a thread of the Saint's mantle still present in the reliquary and not fixed, this one as well as the star on which it was fixed have come off. On the back the bishop's red wax seal and its red silk threads guarantee its authenticity. About Saint Joseph, husband of the Virgin Mary and adoptive father of Jesus, is a central figure of Christianity. A humble and just carpenter, he was chosen by God to protect and educate his Son. Faithful and obedient, he accepted his mission with confidence, guided by the dreams sent by the angel. A model of work, faith and discretion, he is the patron saint of workers, families and the universal Church.
